Flood Certification Survey Real Estate that lies near a water body is very desirable, but comes with a cost. If your home or property resides within a flood zone, you may be subject to costly flood insurance. KEBS can offer relief by researching your property and determining if your property indeed crosses a floodplain line. KEBS will go to your site, collect elevations for an elevation certificate, produce an elevation certificate, and finish with a Letter of Map Amendment (LOMA). Recently, FEMA has released new flood maps for Eaton County, Clinton County, and Meridian Township in Ingham County. This has lead to many people wondering if they are in the flood zone. If you would like to look at the maps, click HERE for the FEMA website. If you have received a letter from your mortgage company stating that you need to have a Flood Certificate Survey done, please contact us. If you are in "Zone A" according to a FEMA map, we must get elevations from the DEQ before any fieldwork can be started, which can take up to 90 or more days. If you would like more information or a quote for a project, please fill out the information below. Request for Service Form: If the property address you wish to have surveyed is different than your home address, please include that information in your comments so that we can look up the correct property information.Required Data Fields Marked With *
